Lesson 5 : Juxtaposition

Juxtaposition in literary synonymous with contrast which means two objects or texts that oppose one another
Example of juxtaposition is when a cotton i placed beside a rock, immediately it stimulate our mind that the cotton is soft, and the rock is hard. Juxtaposition are often used by designers to send message because it is very direct. In the picture above it shows that this kind of Juxtaposition seems very funny.

Lesson 4: Associated Mind Map

Associated Mind Map

Associated is to connect or bring into relation, as thought, feeling, memory. Associated Mind map needs divergent thinking. In order to start divergent thinking, you first need to start brain storming possible ideas or solution for a certain conflict. Associated mind map is different from logical mind map. While logical mind map is usually straight forward, associated mind map can be undirect. For example, the main conflict is how to solve traffic jam in KL, the associated mind map can branch out to an idea which is unrelated to traffic jam like music.
